He holds two PhDs, one in Dyes and Intermediates from Stevens UK, and the other in Advanced Studies on Scalp Disorders. His expertise extended further as he studied Ayurveda, blending traditional wisdom with modern science to create cutting-edge cosmetic products.

Dr. Tolia’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1985, when he took a leap of faith and founded Sun Chem (India). His humble beginnings saw him starting in a modest 700 sq. ft. factory in Mumbai. With sheer determination, he produced his first cosmetic hair color and hair oil, which he personally delivered to salons, pharmacies, and parapharmacies across India, walking tirelessly from door to door.
